Tal graduated with a Ph.D in psychology in the Emotion and Cognition Lab & Laboratory for the Treatment and Study of Mental Health and Well Being. Her research examined the associations between attention (e.g, attentional breadth, attentional control) and rumination. She recived her master's degree in clinical psychology at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
