Amit is a PhD student in the Cognition and Emotion Lab
Amit graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in psychology and communication & Journalism studies and a master's degree in Clinical Psychology from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. His research explores how people construct meaning and identity through the stories they tell about their lives. Specifically, he investigates inferential flexibility, the ability to revise and adapt causal explanations for events, and its role in shaping narrative identity and well-being. By bridging momentary cognitive processes with long-term narrative development, Amit aims to develop ecological, real-world interventions that promote flexible meaning-making and resilience in daily life.
